Hello all, This weeks video looks at the LSVT BIG Movements presented by the Parkinson's Foundation. This program has been around for a while and is backed by a load of solid research. These movements have become a staple of any exercise program for people with Parkinson's disease. How they are implemented varies depending on who you're working with but no matter how you incorporate them, they have been shown to be helpful at improving movement. The key component to these movements or any other movement program is that they are performed at least 5x per week. The research is clear that consistency is key. Comment below with your favorite exercise routines. Do you do the big program? Share with your friends and see what they think.
